Is the Democratic National Convention hosting a Muslim Prayer Service after Rejecting God and Jerusalem?

More importantly, is the Democratic National Convention hosting a Muslim “Jumah” prayer service after rejecting a Catholic cardinal's offer to lead a prayer?

No.

They are hosting a Muslim Gala Reception/Luncheon.  They are also inviting Cardinal Timothy Dolan to give the closing prayer at the Democratic Convention after realizing that the Muslim “Jumah” prayer service fizzled out.  Several thousand were expected at Friday’s Jumah prayer in Marshall Park, and an estimated 300 people actually showed up.

The Democrats of 2012, have raised their fist and spit in the face of God by rejecting Him at the Democratic National Convention just as they spit in the face of God as they rejected marriage between one man and one woman, at one time and have promoted the aborting of unborn children.

They kicked God out of the Democratic National Convention and barely brought Him back in with ‘Boos’ raining down on God and Jews.

The Democratic National Committee banned dozens of Charlotte churches from distributing gift baskets to delegates because the congregations hold values that are contrary to the party platform, according to local religious leaders.  The churches involved were mainline denominations ranging from Baptists and Methodists to Assembly of God.

“They told us our views on women’s rights are contrary to the Democratic party platform,” said David Benham, the lead organizer of the Charlotte714 religious movement.

Charlotte714 is a group of more than 100 churches across the region that mobilized to pray for the Democratic National Convention. More than 9,000 people gathered last Sunday for a time of worship and prayer in advance of the convention.

Yet, a gathering of some 200 Muslims praying in Charlotte was given extensive national coverage. The massive Christian received scant coverage.

On another note, the American Muslim Democratic Caucus (AMDC) will hold a press conference at the Democratic National Convention today.

This event is co-hosted by Congressman Keith Ellison, Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District and Congressman Andre Carson, Indiana’s 7th Congressional District.  Approximately 250 Muslims are expected to attend.

Following the press conference, AMDC will be holding its 3rd Quadrennial Gala Reception/Luncheon which has been held every four years since the Democratic National Convention was held in Boston in 2004.  This event is held in honor of the Muslim and Arab American elected delegates attending the Convention. Expected guests include Muslim Delegates, Democratic Party leadership and elected officials.

Expected speakers at the luncheon include: Senate Majority Whip Senator Dick Durbin – IL, Speaker Nancy Pelosi), Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee – TX, and others.  Is anyone surprised at this line-up of speakers?

"The more than doubling of Muslim delegates at this year's Democratic National Convention is a direct result of their hard work and grassroots organizing within the Democratic Party," Robert McCaw, Government Affairs Coordinator at the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

This is definitely a sign of the American Muslim community's growing civic engagement and acceptance in the Democratic Party.

The "Booing" of God should have been embarrassing to any of the 81% of Americans with religious affiliation.

All I can say is, "so far, the Democratic National Convention has been a train-wreck!"

The fact of the matter is this, while it’s disappointing that the Democrats do not honor God, it’s a relief to hear that the far left fringe is no longer hiding their bigotry.

I wish I could end this article on a note that all is well, but although "God" was reinstated in the DNC's platform, they didn’t reinstate the language on isolating Hamas, the 1967 borders and Right of Return.

That omission will prove to be very troubling for Israel in the very near future.
